What is it you do?
We create Cool Art about you, your car and your Automotive Passion.
Our AutoMementos are created as original personal art from information (pictures, stories, excerpts from brochures, manuals, magazines etc) provided to us by our customers and adding our own stock information and artistic enhancements to highlight a specific person, vehicle or event that is important to you.
Do you create AutoMementos about any car or Automotive event?
Yes, our AutoMementos can be about any vehicle or automotive themed event you like. You provide the information, pictures, brochures, etc (content) which you would like us to use and we'll take it from there.
What different AutoMemento mediums are available?
The gallery shows the different mediums available including size(s) available. Within the content list it explains what we need from you as well as any options available to you. Check back often as we bring out new mediums on an on going basis.
What are the available themes?
Road Trip, Driver Education, Concours, Fun Run, Rally, Parade, Show and Shine, Swap Meet, Car Show. You name it and we make it!
Are there options for customization?
Yes, each of our AutoMementos is custom made for you.
If you want a specific colour background or some specific other information included just let us know what you want and we will include this in your AutoMemento. If supplied & specified, we can add an image of your window sticker, certificate of authenticity or original brochure. If you have personalized plates (and provide an image), these can also be included. The content is up to you and how you want to create a unique way of documenting and memorializing your car and your many automotive experiences.
The AutoMemento will be a gift, how does that work?
We can do one of two things, if you really want the finished piece to present to someone and have the pictures and other documents available, we can help you with the details needed to complete the AutoMemento. Otherwise, we can create a presentation quality gift certificate which would allow the cars owner to work with us directly.
What do I need to get started?
Choose which AutoMemento theme and medium you would like us to use for your project, complete the Questionaire and Order Form and email it to us with your content. Then using the content list as a guide, put together the pictures and other documents you want included and forward them to us. Once we have received your deposit, pictures and other content allow 2-4 weeks for your AutoMemento to be completed and shipped.
What if I do not have enough content?
Re read the section on Content to get some new ideas. Don't worry we have lots of content we can draw from to round out your AutoMemento if you are still short. That is why it is so important that you fully complete our Questionaire and Order Form. This information gives us the background we need to look for content which will compliment what you have already supplied.
What is the process you use to create my AutoMemento?
Typically we review the pictures and documents provided, decide on complimentary accent and background colours and textures, sort and size the content, finalize jounaling as required and start building the project. Backgrounds are painted, pictures are printed and we start assembly. Depending on which medium you've chosen we use wood, paper, and other common products to produce our AutoMementos. Although these are art pieces we expect our customers to show them to others which will involve careful handling.
Do you offer a guarantee?
We stand behind our work and take great pains to make sure every project highlights our customers pictures and other content to its' fullest. If you are not completely satisfied, we will do whatever necessary to correct the situation including redoing the work.
What is the pricing and how do I pay?
Pricing information is noted beside each item in the Gallery. Additional items or optional extras can be included into any project. Once you have completed and sent in our order form we will require ½ of the total as a deposit. Once the project is complete we contact you with the good news and request the balance owing, with actual shipping costs added, before we ship the project to you.
How long does the whole process take?
Once we receive your order and finalize the details we complete a bill of sale. The project is started and is completed in 2-4 weeks from the bill of sale date. Shipping can require up to an additional 2 weeks or so.
