Content

Content is what you provide to make your AutoMemento truly unique. The more information you give us about the story you want your AutoMemento to tell the better job we can do for you. We can incorporate most things into your project, don't limit yourself to flat items like pictures, try to look around for three dimensional items like pins, crests, stickers, hood ornaments, keys etc which we may be able to incorporate depending on the Medium you choose. Three dimensional objects make the finished product far more interesting.

We prefer to use digital images that have not been resized or cropped as they offer us the most flexibility in resizing to fit into your AutoMemento. We will crop and resize and/or colour correct your images as necessary

Sources of content for your AutoMemento can include:

  • Pictures - Outside/ Inside/ Wheels/ Engine/ Acessories etc
  • Websites - Club/ Manufacturer/ Event/ Location
  • Brochures - Manufacturer/ Resort/ Specs
  • Manual - Specs/ Pictures/ Procedures
  • Letterhead - Bill of Sale/ Tech Documents/ Vehicle Configurator
  • Magazines - Advertisements/ Road Tests/ Specifications/ Comparisons
  • Forum Articles - Maps - Route List/ Destination - emails
  • Anything else you want to use! This is about you.

Again, we prefer to work from digital files or links from websites where we can source the images but we can work from whatever you send us. We can work from prints, if that is all that you have available, please send them as soon as possible after we confirm your order so we can get started. Please note that if you decide to send us some prints or other documents we will work very hard to make sure the items you provide are handled carefully and will return them when we ship your finished AutoMemento. However, we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of these items.

If possible include a caption with pictures you supply.

Journaling consists of writing a couple of sentences or a paragraph about an event or some portion of the event. This helps you to relive the event in the future when enjoying and sharing your AutoMemento. These can be sent to us as a Word document.

It is far better for you to supply too much information allowing us to pick from and assemble the content that will produce the best finished AutoMemento. We encourage you to tell us which items are your highest priority to be included.

Every AutoMemento we produce is an original piece of art made for you and no two are exactly alike. They are totally made by hand and are not mass produced in any way. As a result, please do not expect them to look as though they are made in a “cookie cutter” type factory. There may be some minor inconsistencies in terms of painting, cutting and finishing as this is a custom made piece of art. That is part of what makes your AutoMemento unique!

Travelogue

The skies were wet in every direction, but uptown Oxford remained dry as the rural college town along the Ohio-Indiana border entertained an event-record 445 cars (480 registered) for its sixth annual ‘Casual Porsche Party.’ Owners brought their cars from 17 states, two Canadian provinces, and 34 Porsche Club of America regions, the latter also a new benchmark. The 445 attendees surpass last year’s record attendance of 409 Porsches.
